Now let’s say the people who bought that debt, bought Treasury Bills, paying a yeild of 3.55% then in this new hypothetical example, the interest rate is now 3.55% on the thirty one trillion dollar debt, which gives us the interest payment alone on our debt, to be 1,100,500,000,000, which looks like, one trillion, one hundred billion, five hundred million dollars, in interest payments alone. One doesn’t have to be a mathematical genius to see where this is leading.

Even if we had clever, honest people in government right now, which we obviously do not, whatever methods used to try and rectify our predicament, is going to case pain. However, it must begin, with the cutting of government waste, spending and them leaving the money supply to market forces and stepping away from it.
